Human milk oligosaccharides
2'-FL (2'-fucosyllactose) is a unique and irreplaceable human milk oligosaccharide (HMO). Human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) are the third most abundant solid component in breast milk, following lactose and fat. They possess diverse structures and rich physiological functions. To date, more than 200 HMO structures have been isolated and identified, among which 2'-FL is the most abundant. It is a core and representative human milk oligosaccharide in breast milk.
Research has shown that infant formula supplemented with 2'-FL can significantly reduce the abundance of pathogenic bacteria in infants' intestines, effectively lowering the risk of gastrointestinal infections, helping to protect infants' and toddlers' gut health, and providing care that more closely mimics the natural benefits of breast milk.
- HMOs(2'FL)
As a prebiotic, it regulates the composition of the infant's gut microbiota, prevents pathogens from adhering to the intestinal wall, helps prevent necrotizing enterocolitis, exerts immunomodulatory effects, exhibits antiviral activity, and promotes brain development.
Application
Imorawel® isomaltulose (IMO), Golivites® galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS), isomerized lactose, Velfibra® polydextrose, and Hifibers® resistant dextrin work together to comprehensively support gut health. These ingredients synergize to help beverages deliver three key benefits: reduced sugar content, dental care, and improved gut health.
With a pure sweetness similar to that of cane sugar, it is heat-resistant and easy to use, making it a simple substitute for white sugar. It helps make baked goods, beverages, and dishes both low-calorie and delicious.
